Track Name: Dark Clouds
Dark Clouds

Give it all she said
Or hold a life regret
The way of blood is written on your skin
Cos you don’t need that much
No love no human touch
Just to roam and wander all your life

Cos I have seen
The dark clouds rising
The winds of change
Blow heavy on my mind
And it may seem I’ve cast an omen
So let it speak and give it eyes

I have spilled their hearts
A twisted life I’ve carved
Not a man could outrun my chasing steps
But now those steps have turned on me
My bloody hands won’t let me be
Oh to have the chance
The chance to start again

Cos I have seen
The dark clouds rising
The winds of change
Blow heavy on my mind
And it may seem I’ve cast an omen
So let it speak and give it eyes
Let it speak and give it eyes
Track Name: The Pack
The Pack

“All aboard” the call goes out,
The whistles blown,
Take a pace like a river rolling home,
Feel the ground beneath you shake,
And furnace burn,
A little late to state you had so much to learn,

Cos all decide,
The better ride’s,
The one that lies with Satan out the way,
Satan out the way.

Raise the sleepers I got news,
News to tell,
There’s an engine fire that burns as hot as hell,
Ride ‘em down and clear the track,
The pack has gone,
And it’s high time you were moving on.

Cos all decide,
The better ride’s,
The one that lies with Satan out the way,
Satan out the way.
Track Name: Whisprin to Spiders
Whisprin To Spiders

I couldn’t read his head
He wasn’t what he said
He never spoke to openly
And he never had his share
Because he wasn’t what he said
And I couldn’t read his head

I shook him by the hand
This dark and covered man
His didn’t stand that tall
And he wore his hands small
Because he held so tight
To what he held inside
I shook him by the hand
As a dark and covered man

Whispering to Spiders
Earth-ovens full of birds
Air-ships above my head
And darkness in the woods

In a room of solid flame
Where dramas whip their tales
In amongst the brimstone fire
A smile that held the hour
And no matter how
Close I could get
He wouldn’t tell me how
Just why to get out.
Track Name: Saint O' Killers
Saint O' Killers

I guess I’ll just lie here
My face in the mud
Cos no one comes back here
Burn all your crosses
And tear up your books
There’s no need for answers

Just like you said
You’re held in your head
And no matter how, hard you can explain
The self that you see, to me just ain’t the same

I guess I’ll just lie here
My face in the mud
Cos no one comes back here
And no one should
A wish to disturb me
Is a price on your head
I’ve no need for money
I’m already dead
You don’t know the trouble
Or lives that I’ve snuffed
And yet still you wake me
Enough is enough

Just like you said
You’re held in your head
And no matter how, hard you can explain
The self that you see, to me just ain’t the same

A loaded gun
A steady hand
A whip of dust
A charge of sand
All hell to all
And all to hell
The highest has to fall

I guess I’ll just lie here
My face in the mud
Cos no one comes back here
Track Name: Seven Deadly Sins
Seven Deadly Sins

Seven pains from seven chains
Each with seven different names
Seven ways to weigh me down

Seven steps I slowly crept
Towards an ever swelling debt
Seven graces on the ground

Sleep without a cover
And bare my skin to earth
Feel the warmth of others
And roll away those heavy days
Where treachery of mind has given birth

Seven lies on seven nights
Seven looks behind my eyes
Seven different ways to cheat

Seven cuts spill the guts
Of those seven sullen sluts
Seven rotten cuts of meat

Sleep without a cover
And bare my skin to earth
Feel the warmth of others
And roll away those heavy days
Where treachery of mind has given…

Oh this mortal coil of mine
Has bent under the weight
Of blunders that hold nothing but
An outdated biblical disgrace
Of wickedness and fall from grace

Seven clocks have all stopped
Their ticking sins no longer tock
Only seven scars remain

See seven hounds they chased me down
Barking seven different nouns
But all seven were my name
Track Name: The Hedgehog
The Hedgehog

We rode out of town to the woodpile
Where we knew that old crooner would be
A creature who answered ‘The Hedgehog’
A spiny old vermin was he
We stood by his door with our pistols
And stared past the dust clouds inside
His home was just mess and disorder
Convicted we just opened fire

Oh he panicked to run
Out of the back and into the sun
The bullets did fly but his body was shy
Of the metal embrace from my gun

He was corned up against the barn doors
He scratched at the walls for the sky
His prayers for salvation were answered
When the fire from our weapons ran dry
Then one of the blood-gang got thinking
As big as a mountain is high
Lifted a rock up so easy
And hurled it towards hedgehog’s spine

Oh hear the crack
As bones are forced and bent back
He lay on the ground without breathing a sound
And we smiled at our winning attack

Now some months and days in the future
When the pearl moon was covered in black
I heard a familiar scratching
And I knew that the hedgehog was back
I went to the door and was greeted
By a spiky old grin from the dark
He’d come back to teach me a lesson
About waving your own hand of God

Oh you failed in your deed
You broke me but I didn’t bleed
It took me a while and there was no fair trial
But you can’t kill what lives innocently
